Support the Safe Streets Initiative to provide matching grants to communities for additional police officers.
Maintain important human services, including addiction treatment, to reduce the number of repeat offenders.
Protect children and break the cycle of abuse.

Balancing Economic Development & Environment Preservation

Revitalize our boroughs and downtowns to attract businesses to existing communities and encourage smarter growth.
Support local farmers and ranchers to keep revenue from food purchases local, promote a healthier lifestyle and preserve the rich farmland that has sustained our communities for generations.
Support transit studies to plan for the future. Encourage greater use of public transportation.

Improving Our Quality of Life

Support the cultural, recreational and educational assets that enrich our community.
Maintain and improve the quality of our care for the county’s senior citizens.

The priorities I’ve outlined all fit into my Big Picture:

Revitalized downtowns create safer communities because crime can’t hide on a bustling street.
Citizens who overcome addiction find jobs and become contributing members of society.
Children who are protected from abuse are less likely to become abusers themselves.
A healthy agricultural sector diversifies Lehigh County’s economy.
Recreational and cultural opportunities aren’t just a nice thing to have, they help a community stand out and attract new employers.
Lehigh County’s government has a vital and positive role to play in creating a safer, greener and more prosperous future for its citizens. As a County Commissioner, I will keep all of these goals in mind when making the decisions that affect each of us.
